Michael is co-founding partner of the firm and leads the Capital Markets team. He has an extensive practice focused on capital markets transactions, financial services regulation, Banking and Finance and all types of Mergers and Acquisitions.

Michael is a member of the Capital Markets Forum of the International Bar Association and of the Committee for the Codification of Capital Markets Regulations at the Ministry of National Economy. Michael was involved in the drafting of the legislation for the privatisation of the Athens Exchange (Law 3152/2003 and 3371/2005 ) and participated in the legal team that reviewed the Regulation of the Athens Exchange on behalf of the Capital Markets Commission in the spring of 2004. He is one of the four lawyers who sit on the Council of Legal Advisors of the Athens Exchange , a body summoned by the Chairman of the Stock Exchange to give opinions on difficult areas of law. Michael was also Chief Editor of ' Stock Exchange Issues ', a monthly periodical which was published between 2002-2005 and author of a widely acclaimed book with a collection of stock exchange and capital markets rules.

Education and Admissions

Michael is a graduate of the University of Athens Law School (LL.B., 1984) and Harvard Law School (LL.M., 1986). He holds a Doctorate Degree from the University of Athens Law School (thesis on The Greek Law on Corporate Takeovers) (1994). He is admitted to the Athens Bar Association (1987) and can appear before the supreme courts.
