Experience

Stratos is an associate in the areas of Banking, Finance and Capital Markets and Mergers and Acquisitions. He has developed an extensive practice in acting in a wide range of matters in his areas of practice, advising on all types of commercial transactions with an international bias.

Stratos gained considerable experience internationally prior to joining the firm. He interned with the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York and the Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Competition in Washington, DC while in law school in the US. He trained with the law firm of Ashcraft & Gerel in Washington DC from October 1993-July 1994. He went on to work as an associate with the law firm of Flott Rosner PC in Washington DC from September 1996-July 1997 and later with the Law Office of Apostolos Valsamis in Greece from October 1997-January 1999. He was legal counsel at the International Legal Division of the National Bank of Greece from 1999-2003 after which he spent a year and a half as a commercial lawyer at the Kosovo Trust Agency of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo.

Education

Stratos graduated from the University of Athens Law School (LL.B., 1991) and The American University, Washington College of Law (LL.M., 1993, International Trade and Business Law). He is admitted to the Athens Bar Association (1996) and the New York State Bar Association (1994).
