Corporate Finance forms a significant part of MOUSSAS & TSIBRIS ’s practice, for which it has become particularly well known. We have been involved in a diverse range of corporate finance transactions, spanning from straightforward secured and unsecured loans to complicated financing structures in acquisition, real estate, asset and project finance. Our lawyers also advise on sale and leaseback transactions, share capital increases and investment projects, cross-border financings and investment services. Among our long-standing clients are a number of national and international investment banks which we advise in relation to their day to day activities as well as particular transactions. MOUSSAS & TSIBRIS also advises investment firms, banks and credit institutions in relation to the licensing issues arising in their cross-border transactions.

- Acting on behalf of a leading Greek metals trading group in relation to a US$45,000,000 term loan facility
- Advising a Scandinavian telecommunications company, for whom we continue to act on an ongoing basis, in relation to the offering of its stake in a Greek mobile telephone company in two tranches resulting in the raising of €650,000,000 in total
- Advising a leading Greek private sector bank on an ongoing basis in relation to the full range of its investment banking activities
- Representing one of the foremost metals trading groups in Greece in a large scale investment project amounting to US$550,000,000 in Kosovo, comprising of a long term investment agreement with a local mining and metallurgy company and financed by major local banks and export credit institutions
- Advising the London global markets and derivatives and financing division of a leading international bank on an ongoing basis in relation to its transactions with Greek counterparties, in particular the financing and restructuring of government procurement contracts and financing structures for public sector corporations and financial institutions
- Advising foreign financial institutions on the validity and enforceability of derivatives contracts and collateral arrangements in light of the new netting legislation enacted in June 2003
- Advising financial institutions on residential mortgage-backed securitization in light of the legislation introduced in 2003
- Advising the securities division of a leading French banking group,
which acts as custodians for investors in Greece, on an ongoing basis
in relation to all types of legal issues arising from its activities,
including its relationship with the Athens Exchange, the regulatory
authorities and taxation issues.
