This involves actions arising from insider dealing and breach of securities regulations, activities related to the Athens Exchange, trading and investments, insolvency proceedings and litigation involving securities and finance issues. We also represent individuals in white collar crime cases, arising from failure to honour credit, embezzlement, alleged breach of securities regulations and insider dealing. Our practice in this area includes professional negligence actions, in which we represent securities firms and investors in actions arising from services provided and investors in respect of alleged negligence in dealing with investor accounts and illegal business conducted on their accounts by brokers.

• Acting on behalf of a securities dealer in its dispute with investors for amounts owed in respect of services rendered by the company, involving a counteraction by the investors for damages for allegedly negligent dealing with their accounts by the stockbroker
• Successful representation of The Hellenic Deposit Guarantee Fund in a dispute with a large bank in relation to the amount of commission owed by the bank to the institution
• Two of the largest bankruptcy cases to have taken place in Greece, representing clients against two investment houses in both cases on behalf of a large number of investors
• Representation of a major shareholder in a listed company in respect of actions arising from alleged breach of securities regulations resulting in a successful stay of proceedings and the suspension of a large fine
• Representation of investors in their action against an investment firm for negligent use of funds pursuant to the revocation of their license
• Representation of a stock broking company in their dispute with a former associate charged with malpractice
