A main part of our litigation practice is taken up by large insurance cases, in which we act for corporate clients, individuals and insurance companies.

Practice Highlights

• Representation of a leading Greek metals trading group in their action against the Export Credit Insurance Organisation leading to a ruling in their favour in the amount of €25,000,000 from the Court of Appeals
• Acting on behalf of a manufacturer of textiles in their claim of almost €4,000,000 against an international insurance company for the proceeds of a policy as well as lost profits after the 1999 earthquake when the insured factory and its contents were destroyed
• Representation of an insurance company in respect of a claim for the proceeds of an insurance policy for fire damage to a commercial installation and two aircraft collisions
• Representing the beneficiaries against an insurance company in a dispute arising from a claim for proceeds of a personal injury policy in the amount of €3,500,000.
