We also represent clients in employment law and contractual disputes in respect of leases of commercial property. Our lawyers are experienced in the protection of trademarks, copyright, patents and the rights of manufacturers and breach of industrial and intellectual property rights.

• Successful representation in a landmark case on behalf of a major international manufacturer of printers, printing materials and inks, in their action in respect of breach of intellectual property rights and counterfeit products distributed in Greece under their brand name, leading to the immediate prosecution and conviction of the respondents
• Representation of a leading Greek metals trading group on an ongoing basis in relation to disputes arising from charterparties entered into with international arbitration clauses in London to charter vessels to carry their products
• Acting jointly with another leading Athens based firm on behalf of a Scandinavian telecommunications company in relation to a major litigation connected to their activities in Greece
• Acting on behalf of a fish farming business in their dispute with the shareholders of companies in which it had a shareholding, arising from the sale and purchase of shares and their contractual relationship; representing the company in respect of the actions brought against them by suppliers for amounts outstanding
• Representation of a Japanese company specialized in the production of paints used on ships, against its former representative in Greece in respect of sums outstanding
• Advising a manufacturer of heavy duty vehicles and buses in respect of litigation arising in the course of their activities
• Advising companies involved in healthcare and medical equipment and supplies in disputes arising in respect of agents’ goodwill
• Successful representation of a leading international producer of security systems in the action brought against them by their distributor in Greece for lost profits in an amount of €10,000,000 pursuant to their termination of the distribution agreement
• Representation of a leather goods manufacturer in an action brought against them by an international manufacturer of sports clothing and shoes for an alleged breach of trademark.
